Lands End
The County Of Cornwall
About Cornwall
In the most South Western corner of England, tapering into a rocky tip at Lands End, lies Cornwall, a county fiercely proud of its Celtic roots, tin mining past and inescapable relationship with the ocean. In recent times it's become synonymous with surfing, art, good food, laid-back beach lifestyle and a playground for outdoors enthusiasts.

Lovers of all things ‘ocean' will be in their element exploring picturesque fishing villages, drinking local ales in smuggler's inns, sampling freshly caught seafood, taking on new water sports or simply losing track of time on Cornwall's 300 or so beautiful golden beaches.

Walkers will relish the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain on the South West Coast Path. Inland, hundreds of miles of toe paths reveal a lesser known Cornwall of rugged moorland, ancient market towns and fascinating remains of prehistoric cultures.

Attractions old and new make for great days out for people of all ages and interests, whether it's a wander through a country garden or a visit to the huge biomes of the Eden project.
