About Padstow 
Padstow itself lies on the Camel Estuary, about seven miles from Wadebridge. The area naturally beautiful with beautiful bays, golden beaches and many interesting walks, particularly along the Coastal Footpath. Padstow also benefits from the Camel Trail, a walking and cycling trail which hugs the river from Padstow to Wadebridge and continues on to Bodmin.  
 
There are numerous beautiful sandy beaches within a five to ten minute drive of Padstow, For those who enjoy there food Padstow has it all. Rick Stein has three restaurants in the town including his famous Seafood Restaurant, but also St Petrocs Bistro & Rick Stein's Cafe  
 
The town of Padstow is bustling pretty much year round and it is perfect for wandering around. There's a good mix of shops, galleries and eateries and most people find some shopping irresistible.
