About Plymouth
As a city, Plymouth has heaps going for it. Firstly, with a population of about 241,000, it’s one of the largest cities on Britain’s south coast. Secondly, it has a location to die for. To the south, you have its stunning natural harbour and, a none-too arduous ferry ride away, the sights and sounds of France and Spain within your grasp. To the east, we have the picture-postcard villages of the South Hams, Totnes (England’s New Age capital) and the yachting havens of Dartmouth and Salcombe. To the north, you’ll find Dartmoor National Park with its wild moorland and roaming ponies, while Bodmin Moor is just a stone throw away.

Best of all, to the east, you also have some of the finest beaches the UK has to offer and Cornwall right on your doorstep. Before you head off to explore its neighbouring delights, there’s a feast of fun to be had in Plymouth itself.

Other area's to explore, take a look at Ivybridge, Kingsbridge and South Brent
