Striding ahead for 2013
We are super excited to introduce a new member to our team!
After a fantastic 2012, the team at Southern Counties Leisure are looking forward to the forthcoming year with an air of excitement as our team has grown.
We are very please to announce the arrival of Justin Slipper as Business Development Manager.
Justin has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Holiday Home supply world, having worked previously with Omar and more recently as Area Sales Manager for Victory Leisure Homes. Justin has joined us as an additional member of the team, where he will be working alongside Matt Sutton and Richard Ross plus supporting Mike and Carla on both our showground's. This will allow us to keep in contact with you on a more regular basis plus continue to provide the level of service that we pride ourselves upon. We aim to be more active with you as park owners and having an extra member in the team will allow us to enlighten you more on the Willerby & BK Bluebird Holiday Homes and Lodge ranges.
We wish Justin the best of luck in his new position and are all looking forward to working along side him!!

it's a shame to have to shave them off really!

Matt Sutton and Richard Ross from the Southern Counties Leisure Sales Team have joined in with the charity month of ‘Movember’ and are growing moustaches for Mens Cancer Charities.
Join in if you can, and please sponsor them, if only to make sure they look this stupid for the whole month of November!!! Any amount however small will be greatly appreciated and welcomed! We would have sent pictures earlier but it’s taken a while for their fury lips to get to this stage!!!!!

Southern Counties Leisure have been recognised with coveted NCC Approved Distributor status. This achievement reinforces our commitment to best practice and to treating consumers in a fair and honest way while delivering an exceptionally high standard of customer service.
The NCC Approved Distributor scheme is one of four consumer focused initiatives developed by the NCC (National Caravan Council), the trade body for the UK tourer, motorhome, holiday and park home industries of which Southern Counties Leisure are members.
At the heart of each scheme is a Consumer Code of Practice establishing the benchmark for how an NCC member business should undertake all relations with its customer base. After a comprehensive independent on-site assessment, Southern Counties Leisure was found to meet all of the strict criteria governing the scheme and was awarded ‘NCC Approved Distributor status.

David Gauke Revises VAT On Caravan Holiday Homes
Success! It Has Been Announced That The Proposal To Implement 20% VAT On Caravan Holiday Homes In October, Has Been Reviewed After Consultation And Will Now Be 5% VAT From March 1st 2013.
Well Done! A Lot Of Effort By Everyone Involved But Common Sense Has Now Prevailed. Although Caravan Holiday Homes Have Not Retained The 0% VAT Status We Have All Been Hoping For, 5% VAT Which Will Not Come Into Effect Until March 1st 2013 Is A Major Step Forward To Secure Jobs In The Manufacturing, Supplies & Services, Holiday Parks And Tourism In General.
