Our chassis systems have all been highly engineered to cater for the rigours of transportation and prolonged usage, and to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. Constant upgrades to interior fittings, higher technical specifications and additions such as double glazed windows are all adding to the load for the chassis to bear. It’s therefore imperative that the chassis forms a robust foundation on which to build our holiday homes.
There are now three versions of chassis used across our holiday home range, meticulously designed to provide the very best solution for each of our Willerby models – just one more reason why we remain the first choice for holiday home buyers.
FULLY GALVANISED HEAVY DUTY CHASSIS
Due to their size, weight and dimensions, our high-end models benefit from our strongest chassis solution. Developed to deal with the extreme loadings that our lodge models encounter, this twin axle fully galvanised chassis system developed by Willerby and its partner is the most comprehensive chassis solution on the market.
'FUSION PROTECH' FULLY GALVANISED CHASSIS
As part of our ongoing commitment to product development and the continual introduction of innovative new features in our holiday homes, we are delighted to unveil for 2016 the next evolution in chassis technology – the 'Fusion Protech'.
Having pioneered the introduction of fully galvanised chassis systems across the majority of our ranges as standard back in 2011, this revolutionary new holiday home chassis solution combines innovative design with engineering expertise, and is the culmination of an extensive Research and Development project between Willerby and our chassis supplier. Including a new stronger engineered profile, with increased steel content and improved structural design, Willerby once again delivers the ultimate in chassis solutions across our holiday home range.
STEEL CHASSIS WITH PROTECTIVE COATING
Our entry level models are built on conventional steel chassis systems with protective coatings to ensure durability. These chassis solutions are still subject to the same high level of engineering scrutiny, but are utilised to ensure these models are competitively priced (as a result they have a limited anti-corrosion warranty of two years**). We do however offer optional upgrades to fully galvanised systems for those wishing to add extra peace of mind and benefit from the extended anti-corrosion twelve year warranty.
* Galvanised chassis warranty is 12 years from the date of chassis manufacture, or 10 years from date of sale to the end user, whichever occurs first. The 12 year chassis warranty applies to holiday home manufactured in model year 2014 onwards.
** Conventional steel chassis warranty is 2 years from the date of chassis manufacture, or 1 year from date of sale to the end user, whichever occurs first.
